Scouts and Guides Society!

Birmingham University Scout & Guide Society (BUSAG) offer a wide variety of social activites, ranging from "traditional" ones like camping and hiking, to anything that members want to do, such as toboganning, murder mystery evenings or visits to local attractions. BUSAG really does do something for everyone!

You may notice that we're similar to a Scout network or Senior Section unit, allbeit with a distinctively student feel! But you really do not have to have been a member of either movement to enjoy what we do.

The club has been running since 1929 making us one of the oldest socities in the Guild and last year we celebrated our 80th birthday! As well as our social activities, we also have strong links with the local Guiding and Scouting communities and many of our members volunteer with units in Selly Oak, Edgbaston and Harborne, as well as further afield. If you want to work with a unit - just email us and we'll put you in touch!
