Whether a Spielberg in the making, a trivia king or just a fan of sitting in darkened rooms the Brum FilmSoc is for you.
Regularly screening quality films at the university's Edgbaston campus, you can watch all your favourites and also find some new ones. Chances to collaborate with other societies for specialised marathon screenings, last year teaming up with RockSoc, SciFiSoc and FetSoc for a special Rocky Horror Picture Show screening and also with the IAA for some Spartan fun with Gladiator, 300 and Indiana Jones to name a few of the marathon. Every film shown is part of the Brum FilmSoc Library and once you are a member you can rent any DVD only having to pay a small, refundable deposit.
You can get involved with our Film Making Project as writer, director, cameraman or actor. A great way to make friends and develop your film making skills.
