Welcome
to the BUSA White Water Race mini-site. The BUSA Student White Water Race
is organised by Birmingham University Kayak Club (BUKC), and is
held in the autumn term each year.
The
2005-06 event will be held over the weekend of the 19th
/ 20th November 2005. The race is to take remain at the River
Washburn in North Yorkshire.
Please

Put it in your diaries now, as next years race promises to be bigger and
better than ever!
Further
information and entry forms for the championships will be sent out nearer
the time through BUSA and our mailing list. In the mean time, if you would

EVENT
NEWS
The
2004 - 05 race was held at the River Washburn in
North Yorkshire over the weekend of 13th / 14th November 2004.

| This years event
saw a total of over 300 individual or team entrances across all the
classes. We would like to thank all teams and individuals for their
efforts to stick to the start times which allowed everyone to race! |
| Thanks to all
the Birmingham helpers for all their hard work over the weekend, the
event would not be possible without their efforts. |

Clive and Steve from Desperate
Measures for attending this years event with their tent, DJ, boating
videos, tea and coffee, heaters, generators and fleet of demo boats.
