Final Race Information and provisional start time are available below and will be circulated by BUSA to the Athletics Unions of ever member university, in the mailout on 9th November.

Please note that the increased number of competitors this years means that the intervals between start times have been reduced and universities may need to bring more boats and equipment accordingly. You will need to be very organized with shuttles!

Initial event information and entrance forms were circulated by BUSA to the Athletics Unions of ever member university, in the mailout on 5th October. The entry deadline for the BUSA championship races has now passed but you can still enter the open and playboat classes.

Desperate Measures

Desperate Measures, the kayaking shop based in Nottingham are to attend this years event with their fleet of demo boats. The boats will be available for everyone to try during the open access 'practice sessions.' DM's will also have a selection of other shiny kit for sale over the weekend!

Event T-Shirts

Event T-Shirts will be on sale over the weekend from Race Control. Prices to be confirmed (about £8) and there will be a limited supply! Please note: The t-shirt color will now necessarily be as shown

Event Timetable

A final event timetable will be available at the event. However the provisional timetable is as follows:

Fri 12th Nov	17:00 onwards	Competitors arrive at campsite. Please make yourselves known to the organisers upon arrival.
Sat 13th Nov	8:00 onwards	Access to the race start and Race Control car park available
	9:00	Water release & practise session commences / registration opens / food & refreshments available at main car park
	10:00	Captains Briefing at race control for all teams
	11:30	First race starts. All other people must be off the river by this time.
	11.30 – 16.30	Men’s K1 / Women’s K1 / C1 / C2 Mixed start times
	16:30	Racing and water release concludes
	Evening	Food & Refreshments available at the campsite Party at the Hopper Lane Hotel
Sun 14th Nov	8:00 onwards	Access to the race start and Race Control car park available
	9:00	Water release & practise session commences / registration opens / food & refreshments available at main car park
	9.00 – 12.00	‘Playboat’ Class and Open event. Start times to be confirmed on Saturday night and river access will be announced.
	12.00	First BUSA race starts. All other people must be off the river by this time.
	12:00 – 16:30	Men’s K1 Team / Women’s K1 Team / Mixed Team Some mixed start times
	17:00	Prize giving at race control

Captain's Briefing

A captains briefing will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday at race control. A representative form each University MUST attend.

Prize Giving and Results

Race results will be posted and prizes presented at race control after racing finishes on the Sunday.
