This years change of venue is being used as an opportunity to make some major changes to the way the event is run. These changes include a central campsite for everyone attending and a PARTY!

Camping

Central camping will be provided for all competitors for the Friday and Saturday nights. Camping will be at High House Farm, Hardisty Hill, Blubberhouses.

Although the campsite facilities are basic, there's plenty of space and it's only a short walk from the race site and party! Porta-loos will be provided on site. Camping will be in the back fields, please follow direction on arrival. Please leave 2m between all tents, park sensible and use the bins provided. See below for directions.

Camping for all BUSA entrants will be included within the competition entrance fee. Competitors entering the Open event, as well as spectators, will be able to pay for camping on the Saturday at race control. More information about spectator and open camping tickets can be found here.

Food

The Yorkshire Outside Catering Company will be on site from the Friday evening when you arrive until Sunday. There will be a range of good value food available throughout the weekend. The catering van will be at the campsite during the evenings and down at the race site during Saturday and Sunday daytime.

Hot food and drinks will be available at breakfast, lunch and evening meal times and throughout the day.  All food will be reasonably priced with a main meal and drink costing approximately £3.

The pub is only a short walk away but please feel free to bring your own food and refreshments!

Party

A party has been arranged at the Hopper Lane Hotel on Saturday evening.  The party will take place in the main bar with a DJ. The hotel is on the main A59 at Blubberhouses and can be easily accessed from the campsite via a footpath across the fields.

Further details will be distributed at the Captains Briefing.

Local Facilities

Local facilities in the area are limited and there are no big shops or cash machines.  It is advised that people bring sufficient money for the entire weekend with them.  You are welcome to bring your own food and refreshments although a caterer will be on site for the duration of the event.
