Postgraduate & Mature
Students Association

The PMSA exists to represent Postgraduate and Mature Students to the Guild and, through the Postgraduate and Mature Students Officer, to the University. We also perform social and welfare functions.

As an association of the Guild, membership is free-of-charge and open to anyone who is a Mature Student, or who is registered as a Postgraduate Student. Just come along; there are no forms to fill in!

First PGMSA social: Thursday 29th January 2009, Bratby Bar, Ground Floor of Staff House. Spread the word!!

The PostGrad space is now open for business, following the launch party on 19th March.

What is it?

The space is available to any postgraduate student and all mature undergraduates. Use it to have meetings or relax with your friends, use the computers, or even to snooze on the comfy sofas. As long as you leave the room clean and tidy, you can use it for whatever at any time that the Guild is open (except during whole-building events).

Keys

The room is normally locked, so to get the key, just go to the main Guild reception desk and ask for it. You'll need to use your Guild card/Uni ID card as the deposit. If reception is closed, keys can be returned to Joe's Bar.

Where is it?

We'll hopefully be able to put a map here soon, but in the meantime, the space is beneath Spar: Go down the stairs next to the exit from Spar, turn left through the doors at the bottom, and go straight ahead. Email the PMSA if you have any requests for any equipment in the room, or to report any defects.
