General Sailing

General Sailing occurs throughout the term on a Wednesday afternoon. No previous experience of sailing is necessary and everyone is welcome. It is a great opportunity to meet up with everyone and just have fun on the water, as well as a chance to learn new skills. Some of the clubs more experience sailors will be around to give advice and help teach those with less experience. There will also be the chance to learn rules and tactics of team racing if you wish to. Most of our team sailors start as Wednesday Sailors.
When do we meet? : Every Wednesday at 1.00pm
Where do we meet? : The Gunbarrels Pub which is on the corner of the Bristol Road (A38) and Edgbaston Park Road.
Please note that unfortunately some sessions are cancelled due to unsuitable weather, these will be notified by Wednesday morning on the facebook group : UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM SAILING CLUB.
