About Brumswim

The University of Birmingham is home to one of the most talented university swim teams in British swimming, finishing in the top 3 for two years running in the BUCS (formerly BUSA) team championships. The 09/10 season has seen another successful Brumswim for introducing 3 teams who made it through to the BUCS final for the first time in both the University's and Championships' history. The 08/09 season has seen another successful Brumswim year with Brumswim awarded Team of the Year at the Athletic Union awards. Brumswim caters for all standards however and pride ourselves on being one of the best supported clubs and having a strong social scene. For more details go to club info pages.

BUCS Finals, a first

A huge Congratulations for all Brumswimmers for first in BUCS Swimming in getting all three of their division teams into the final of the BUCS Championships. The Squads pushed themselves to the extreme, claiming 31 personal and seasonal bests! With tough competition in all divisions, even these top performances, never before seen, could only bring the 3 teams to 4th, 6th and 6th.   TOP RESULT AT BUCS LONG COURSE AS BRUMSWIM TRIUMPH WITH BUCS MEDAL IN YEARS

  
  
  The weekend of valentines day proved more than just a romantic time, but a time to remember when the Brumswim team walked away from the BUCS long course championships at Ponds Forge Sheffield on a high coming 8th overall out of 40+ Universities competing, a BUCS medal for the first time since 2006, and PB's galour, smashing 5 club records.
